
Louise Marley
LOUISE MARLEY is the author of the novels Sing the Light, Sing the Warmth, and Receive the Gift, published by Ace Science Fiction. The Terrorists of Irustan, also from Ace, has a publishing date of June, 1999. "Body and Blood", a short story, recently appeared in the anthology Divine Realms, from Canadian publisher Turnstone Press, and "Small in the Saddle" appeared in chapbook form from Atomic Westerns. Marley has also published nonfiction articles in a number of professional journals, including one on comprimario artists in Seattle Opera's Winter Magazine.
Marley is also a classical concert and opera singer, a mezzo-soprano who has sung many times with Seattle Opera, the Seattle Symphony, and other Northwest organizations. Her concert and recital performances have taken her across the United States and to Italy and Russia. She taught music subjects at Cornish College of the Arts for eleven years, leaving that position recently to have more time for writing. She lives in Redmond with her husband and son.
