Writer
I'm the author of six science fiction novels,
including the Skyrider series from Tor; and one mystery novel (Through the Eyes Of the Dead)
published by Walker. My two most recent books, Cold Iron and Sister To the Rain, are fantasies published by Roc. See my bibliography for more information on what I've written.
Webmaster
I designed and, with the generous help of several volunteers, maintain the SFWA Web site (which takes most of my "spare" time, and explains why I so rarely update my own). Soon I expect to be designing a site for Embiid, Inc., a corporation devoted to electronic publishing and software development, among other things.
Homemaker
In my copious spare time I work part-time as a stock clerk/janitor/handyman at a warehouse in Honolulu, work on remodeling the "fixer-upper " that my husband and I
purchased on the leeward shore of Oahu, and try to keep up with at least minimal housekeeping, though perhaps not with any great success.

Melisa's Excellent Adventures, a sort of online diary kept quite irregularly, most of it culled from notes posted in the various hangouts where I spend time talking with people when I probably ought to be writing fiction. There's even one on Writing an Author Bio, which is definately not one of my favorite jobs.
