To Enter: Write a Science Fiction/Fantasy story of up to 3000 words in English, with the main character being female. Anything else is left up to your imagination. Professional writers and newcomers are welcome. All stories have to be emailed, including your name, address, email address,(daytime phone number optional), title of story, synopsis of story (about 30 words), the date is was written (year), the category on Lunacat it fits best, author's url (if applicable), and a short biography of yourself including your age (Should your story be featured/published on Lunacat.net we will use your bio to introduce you. At that time we will also ask you to email us a photo of yourself. If you do not use our submission form (see below), please copy and paste all information into your email or attach a MS word(.doc) or plain text (.txt) document. Please do NOT send stories in the body of an email message. Only send as attachments. Thank you. Email your story to: story@lunacat.net. The subject line must read: Story submission. Or just use our Submission form for your convenience. (Note: AOL users seem to have some problems with submitting the form this way and probably should email us the story directly. If you used the form and have not heard from us in 4 weeks, please send us an email with the date of submission, your name and the title of the story. Thanks!) We will do our best, but we cannot promise that your entries will be acknowledged. Any entry exceeding 3000 words will be disqualified. Acceptance: The stories will be published and featured on Lunacat.net based on the quality of story and appropriateness to Lunacat.net's public image. We cannot guarantee acceptance. Eligibility: Open to anybody ages 18 and older at time of entry. Please include your age. We will NOT publish your age! General Terms and Conditions: The author of a chosen story to be featured will be notified by email. Submission of any entry grants Lunacat.net and its agents the right to publish, use, adapt, edit such entry in any way without limitation. The author will remain copyright holder of the story. Upon submission to and acceptance for publication from Lunacat.net, the author, grants us (minimum of) 90 day publication rights, starting from the day that your work is posted "live" on Lunacat.net. You may request we remove a story any time after the initial 90 days of publication. Entries must be the original work of the entrant, may not have won previous awards, may not have been published previously, and must not infringe upon third party rights and must be suitable for publication at Lunacat.net's discretion (obscene, indecent or other objectionable material will be disqualified).
