Staten Island Shakespearean Theatre

Proudly Presents:

The Prisoner of Second Avenue
by Neil Simon

Life in New York City can be tough. Just ask Mel and Edna Edison. Mel is a well paid executive of a company which has suddenly hit the skids. Soon the Edison's are beset by life's big city problems—unemployment, crime traffic and noisy neighbors. Mel finally does the only thing left for him to do: he has a nervous breakdown.

A comedy classic of what it takes to survive in the big city.
